Eighteen years is not much time in life
To try to do the things you need to do
Your days are filled with wonder and excitement
Bringing joy and love to everyone around you
This little girl tried so very hard
To do god's work and never did she roam
She must have done exactly what she needed
For God has called his little girl home
*
Angie Dawn left us early one May morning
and she left us with the fleeting of a fawn
When the Lord said your earthly work is over
But you'll always be my baby Angie Dawn
*
I'm sitting here and thinking of Gods motive
And I wonder what it is that I'm to see
It must be the beauty of each morning
And the love of the child he lent to me
*
Angie Dawn left us early one May morning
And she left us with the fleeting of a fawn
When the Lord said your earthly work is over
And you'll always be my baby Angie Dawn
Sleep tight sweetheart
Your Momma and Daddy Loves You
